The Hilton Budapest WestEnd is a contemporary four- storey hotel situated in the business and commercial district of Budapest, one kilometre from the Parliament building. The 230 air-conditioned guestrooms and suites are decorated in soft, warm tones with contemporary light-wood furnishings, and include satellite television with pay movies and video games, high-speed Internet connections, minibars, safes and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and separate tubs, telephones, bathrobes and hair dryers.
Guests can stay in shape using the cardio-vascular exercise equipment in the top-floor fitness centre, which features large windows commanding panoramic views over the city. After a workout, guests can unwind with a sauna. Guests of the hotel have complimentary access to the health club. During the summer months guests can relax on the private terrace and enjoy views across the Castle District and the green Buda Hills. The hotel restaurant serves Mediterranean dishes and Hungarian specialities, and opens onto a roof garden in summer. Café Zita is a cosmopolitan café bar located by the lobby, serving light sandwiches, salads and a wide selection of beverages until late, while Bar Kando offers innovative house cocktails and classic favourites. Business facilities include ten meeting rooms and a business centre offering fax, copying and scanning services, and wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Practical amenities include a laundry and dry-cleaning service, safe-deposit boxes and 24-hour room service. Guests arriving by car will find secure parking facilities on site(surcharge). The hotel has direct access to the adjacent shopping mall and many of the city's major sights, including Margaret Island, St Stephen's Cathedral and the Museum of Fine Art, are within two kilometres of the hotel. Budapest Ferihegy Airport is 18 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

Popis cesty

An airport bus links the city centre Erzsébet Square bus station with the airport every 30 minutes. There is an airport minibus service to any address in Budapest. A pre-pay local bus 93 from the airport to the underground metro terminus, Köbánya-Kispest although passengers may wish to alight at Deák tér where the three underground lines meet. Taxis are available from the airport at the taxi stand, but their fares can be unregulated; passengers should negotiate a fare before leaving the airport. A taxi should cost approximately 35 EUR. Budapest has an inexpensive and efficient public transport system with easy links between the metro, HEV trains, buses, trams and trolleybuses. Tickets can be bought from metro stations, kiosks and newsstands. All major public transport routes depart from Nyugati Square. Tram lines 4 and 6 run from the square towards the Buda side, crossing Margaret Bridge onto Margaret Island and ending at Moszkva Square. Metro line 3 also departs from here, in the direction of Deák Ferenc Square in the centre.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs for 'Ferihegy ut' towards the city centre. Once in the city, follow 'Üllöi ut' until junction 'Ferenc Körüt' and 'Jozsef Körut'. Turn right and follow 'Jozsef Körut' to 'Nyugati Palyaudvar' (railway station). Turn right to the hotel.
